POSTPONED: Join us for Wavelengths Portland: The Artist's Guide to Emerging Tech
From the recent release of the AI-created “fake Drake” track and rapid development of AI music tools, to the millions of dollars generated through NFTs by artists like Grimes, the current music industry landscape can be both exciting and overwhelming for independent artists striving to find a foothold.
It’s easy for artists and their teams to feel overwhelmed as the music industry seems to transform and reinvent itself daily around new technologies. If this sounds like you, fear not, because MusicPortland is here to help you learn and navigate this constantly evolving ecosystem.
MusicPortland is thrilled to announce "Wavelength’s Portland: The Artist's Guide to Emerging Tech" workshop, taking place on November 4, 2023. This workshop, produced in partnership with Water & Music, is tailor-made for artists and music industry folks who may be hesitant to embrace new technologies, but want to learn and understand how they can benefit their creative practices and careers.
Why Should You Attend?
Technology is neither inherently good nor bad — it all comes down to how you use it.
This workshop aims to demystify emerging technologies and provide you with practical and ethical ways to use them in your music career — all grounded in real life case studies. Imagine using AI to analyze audience data and tailor music release strategies for maximum impact.
